Al Jamia Al Islamia, a pioneering Islamic Educational Institution in
Kerala, is very well
on its way forging ahead into the world of tomorrow, having already
contributed
tremendously to the Islamic higher education in India. Primarly founded an
Islamic
college in 1955. Al Jamia has played a path-breaking role in history for
half-a-century.
In continuation of its noble mission, the institution was upgraded as a
complete Islamic
University in 2003 so as to step into the next phase of its mission. It
was a dream come
true when the celebrated International Islamic scholar Sheikh Yusuful
Qardawi declared
the college as an Islamic University at a ceremony witnessed by hundreds
of thousands
of people at the campus.
An institution of this size and magnitude requires a great deal of
financial support as to
maintain itself. Al Jamia has to spend a huge amount to provide free
education and
accommodation to hundreds of students every month. However, its greatest
asset has
always been the generosity of noble-minded brethren like you. So, We
earnestly appeal
every brother and sister to do everything in your capacity to support this
unique
endevour in the cause of Islam.
