Eighty-two years of Imaarat-e Shari’a

Phulwari Sharif: A conference was recently held in Phulwari Sharif under the presidentship of Amir-e Shari’at, Maulana Sayed Nizamuddin to mark the completion of 82 years of Imaarat-e Shari’a of Bihar, Orissa and Jharkhand in which more than a thousand of Ulama, intellectuals, jurists, social and political workers and representatives of different organizations from these states and Bengal took part. Maulana Hameeduddin Aaqil, a religious scholar of Hyderabad attended the conference as the chief guest.

Three important publications of the Imaarat-e Shari’a were released on this occasion and spotlight on the utility and importance of these books was also thrown. Speakers in this conference lauded the services, achievements and plans of the Imaarat.

On this occasion Maulana Nizamuddin said that Imaarat-e Shari’a preaches righteousness in addition to faith and worship of Allah and calls upon Muslims to beware of all kinds of mischiefs and remain united. The chief guest, Maulana Hameeduddin Aaqil Husami said that the Imaarat-e Shari’a is a shining example of the unity and collectivity of the Muslims of Bihar, Orissa and Jharkhand and hence they should associate themselves with this religious and Shara’ee organization. q
