Anti-communalism campaign
New Delhi: Addressing a press conference in Jaipur, the head of Rajasthan
cell of Jamaat-e-Islami Engineer Muhammad Salim said that it is a matter of
grave concern that some fascist powers for some time have been conspiring to
create communal hatred among different communities, widening the distance and
creating an atmosphere of mistrust for their vested interests without any regard
to government, law and Constitution. For a decade they have been trying to
impose their views on others, harassing weaker sections, doing harm to the
places of worship of various groups, burning their religious books, maligning
their educational institutions and creating doubts about hem.
While speaking about terrorism he said that for some time terrorism has shaken
the entire world especially India while all religions believe that killing of
innocent lives is a grave crime and Islam has given elaborate instructions in
this regard saying that to kill an innocent is as if to kill the entire
humanity.
In view of these problems they have started a month-long public awareness
campaign from 21 February to 20 March.
Do not give up patience: Dr Aquil
Azamgarh: While talking to newspersons All India general secretary of

parts of the country is very unfortunate. While expressing sympathy with the
victims he appealed to the compatriots to act discreetly and intelligently. He
further appealed to the country people to maintain integrity, mutual brotherhood
and peace and harmony and to be aware of the conspiracies of dividing
Hindu-Muslim brotherhood. He also appealed to Muslims not to be excited and
shout slogans but to have patience and not to pay attention to rumours.
