Madrasa Board for Rajasthan

Jaipur: Bahujan Samaj Party MLA, Mahir Azad demanded in Rajasthan Assembly the formation of Madrasa Board for the promotion of education of minority community members. His demand was supported by some Congress members also.
Rajasthan Minister for Education, Dr C P Joshi assured him that the state government is also considering about the formation of Madrasa Board for exposing children of minority community to modern education. For this purpose necessary information is being obtained from other states where Madrasa Boards are already functioning. He further said that a final decision in this connection will be taken only after knowing from these states as to how far they have succeeded in achieving the desired results after the creation of Madrasa Boards. He also said that after attaching the madrasas to modern education, they will be attached to the national mainstream.
