‘Temple funds misappropriated’

A prominent member of Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas (RJN) Sant Dharam Das has accused the temple fund managers of RJN of having misappropriated and misused a substantial amount of money collected from the Hindus for construction of the proposed Ram Temple at Ayodhya. Sant Dharam Das said that it is not only he who is incensed over the recent actions of the VHP leaders but local sadhus and sants from Ayodhya have expressed their extreme displeasure and anger over the issue. The sant of Hanuman Garhi also said that he is planning to take the issue to a court of law. "Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) should be exposed for misappropriating temple funds," Sant Dharam Das said.

The recent ‘shila daan’ programme enacted by Ashok Singhal and company was ‘farcical’ and turned into a fiasco. "VHP leaders have sold out the temple movement at the hands of the Central government and would gain nothing out of it. Karsevaks have only been made fools by the VHP leaders. The actions of VHP leaders only prove that they are trying their best to weaken the temple movement," Mahant Dharam Das charged. q
