No ISI in western U.P.

Rampur: Inspector General of Police, Bareilly Zone, Manoj Kumar, while addressing a press conference in Rampur, flatly denied that ISI activities are being carried out in eight districts of his Bareilly zone comprising Shahjahanpur, Moradabad, Pilibheet, Bareilly, Budaun, Rampur, Bijnaur.

He said that meetings of police officers of his zone are regularly held but no informations of ISI activities are received.

He said that if Indian Panel Code is strictly and sincerely implemented, there is absolutely no need of special laws like TADA and POTA. (Rashtriya Sahara, 12 April). q
