Memorandum against Israel’s barbarism
New Delhi: The Shahi Imam of Delhi’s
Jama Masjid, Maulana Sayed Ahmad Bokhari, leading a ten-member delegation,
submitted a memorandum to the United Nations Office and demanded that an
international force should be stationed in the Middle East to protect lacs
of Palestinian against Israel’s barbarism.
It was also demanded in the memorandum that Palestinian Headquarters in
Jerusalem, Pent House and other Palestinians buildings lands, including
Jerusalem, be returned to Palestinians because ever since September last
year, Israel has been indulging in genocide of Palestinians.
Accusing the United Nations of adopting double standard vis-à-vis Israel
and the Palestinians, the memorandum said that Israel is sabotaging the
efforts of peace in this region and in the undeclared war against
Palestine, Israel has let loose a reign of terror in the Western Gazastrip,
East Jerusalem and other parts of Palestine where abut 600 innocent
children, women and unarmed men have been killed by Israel.
He also demanded convening of a special session of Security Council to
discuss the prevailing situation in the middle east, imposition of
economic sanctions against Israel and trial of Israel’s ruling clique as
war criminals. q |
