| | Qadianis active in UP villages
By Obaid Nasir, Lucknow
Activities of the Qadiani sect are alarmingly increasing in the suburbs of Lucknow More than 25 villages around the state capital namely Mohanlal Ganj, Mau, Jarauli, Kankaha, Simri, Bilas Kherha, Uthratia Mati, Chandrawal etc, are their main targets. Qadiani preachers taking advantage of the utter poverty, illiteracy and ignorance among Muslims are spreading their tentacles at the name of religious and modern education. They have established a centre near SGPGI on Lucknow Rae Bareli Road which is equipped with all modern facilities including internet and satellite channels.
The modus operandi of these Qadiani preachers is very effective and scientific. They visit the villages in groups, contact local Muslims, speak as a Muslim talks about Allah, Prophet, Holy Book and other religious teachings. Then they show their intention of establishing a Qur'anic centre and offer to provide free education to children. They also lure the simple and illiterate Muslims by providing them gifts, clothes and other items of daily use. Then like slow poison the teachings of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani are put in their innocent minds and when they are a bit influenced they are sent to attend group discussions and if the preachers are satisfied such persons are offered to visit Qadian in Punjab.
Sensing the danger some Muslims of the area contacted Maulana Abdul Aleem Farooqi of Darul Muballegheen, Lucknow, who along with other ulema visited the area called meetings of Muslims and told them about the faith regarding Khatme Nubuwwat and the true face of Qadianism.
Iqra Public School is also active in this field. Its manager Dr. Abdul Quddus Hashmi along with other Muslim clerics are continuously visiting the area distributing literature from Nadwa, Deoband, Jamat Islami, Tahreek Khatme Nubuwwat and Darul Muballegheen etc to highlight the concept of Khatme Nubuwwat and expose the Qadiani creed and its inherent conflict with Islam. Muslim ulama are also active and during Friday khutba the theme of their sermons is only khatme nubuwwat.
On the first of September an advisory meeting of Majlis Tahaffuz Khatme Nubuwwat was held under the presidentship of Maulana Abdul Aleem Farooqi. Maulana Muhammad. Yamin Qasmi of Darul uloom Deoband was a special invitee on the occasion. The meeting deliberated thoroughly on the Qadiani menace and after consulting Maulana Marghoobur Rahman proctor Darul Uloom Deoband decided to hold a big Khatme nubuwwat conference in Mohanlal ganj the nerve centre of Qadiani activities on 21 september. Earlier Maulana Aleem Farooqi has discussed the issue with Maulana Rabey Nadvi of Nadwatul Ulema Lucknow who agrees to attend the proposed conference keeping in view the importance of the problem. On the other hand, Maulana Naushad of Amethi, Bandagi Mian of Lucknow, Ashiq Ali of Gosaiganj and Dr. Shabbir Alam of Mau (both in Lucknow District) are leaving no stones unturned to counter this menace in their respective town and surrounding villages.
Maulana Aleem Farooqi told The Milli Gazette that the delegations from Darul Uloom Deoband will visit Lucknow, Kanpur, Unnao, Fatehpur, Rae Bareli, Barabanki, Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur and other districts. The purpose is that wherever Qadianis are spreading their tentacles, their true face could be shown to ordinary Muslims.
