Spreading hatred against madrasas
Rampur: The national general secretary of Samajwadi party and Rajya Sabha MP, Mohd Azam Khan, said in a press conference that repeatedly dubbing madrasas as ISI centres is aimed at spreading the message of hatred against a particular community. He further said that people who could not prevent the five terrorists from entering the Parliament compound even after POTO have not the least right to rule the country. He also said that POTO has been introduced by BJP government only against Muslims. It would have been used against Ashok Singhal who, by ridiculing and disregarding court orders and government laws, had forcibly entered the disputed place of worship. He warned that those who are opposing and criticising secular ideas of Mulayam Sigh are in fact assisting BJP.
He demanded that those who demolished Babri Masjid on 6 December 1992 should be declared as terrorists because it is now symbolically admitted that demolition of buildings is an act of terrorism.
He predicted that Congress will not get secular votes, BJP will get votes of only one community whereas Samajwadi party will get votes of all communities.
He said that his party recently distributed thirty-five lakh rupees among disable persons of Rampur for artificial limbs and that a team of twelve doctors has also been sent to fit in those limbs among the disabled persons. He also said that Mulayam Singh himself, along with Amitabh Bachan etc will distribute such limbs. q |
