Bajrang Dal’s venom-spewing
Muzaffarnagar: In a highly provocative statement the national convener of Bajrang Dal (BD), Surendra Kumar Jain on 12 March that if the history of Godhra is now repeated anywhere in the country, the entire country will be tuned into Gujarat. Addressing Bajrang Dal workers in Muzaffarnagar, he said that in order to crush the ‘jehadis’ and their activities, 40 lakh [4 million] BD workers are ready. Spewing venom against a particular community he said that these people indulge in spying activities for enemy countries but now no favour will be shown to them and we shall strongly and violently retaliate against them.
Sharply attacking the central government, he said that like other governments, this government is also appeasing a particular community for which 800 crores of rupees have been given for Haj travel. As against this, Hindus going on pilgrimage to Amar Nath and Vaishno Devi are not only not given any facility but they have to pay tax also. Giving a threat, he said that the matter will not come to an end by acquiring Ram Janambhoomi only but they (Muslims) will have to clear the account of thirty thousand temples. Prior to this, SK Jain issued provocative statements in Shamli Thana Bhavan also.
