Terrorism not taught in madrasas
Monger: Former central minister and national president of Lok Janshakti Party, Ram Vilas Paswan, while addressing a conference on the honour and dignity of madrasas at Madrasa Rahmania in district Darbhanga said that madrasas are working in accordance with rights granted under the Indian Constitution. In no madrasas of the country is training and education in terrorism, communalism or hatred being imparted.
He said that patriotism and invaluable sacrifices for freedom of the country have been important parts of the history of madrasas. These institutions have spread education and removed illiteracy from cottages and settlements of the poor. These madrasas have nothing to do with terrorism, but the central government is defaming these madrasas under some hidden motivations and at the same time those who are really and openly spreading and indulging in terrorism are being given a free hand to indulge in such activities.
He further said that the central government has deliberately included some portions in the report on the madrasas, without any enquiry, so as to project a bad image of madrasas. This is in fact a conspiracy against Islam and madrasas. The people associated with RSS, BJP, VHP and Bajrang Dal are in fact indulging and spreading acts of terrorism.
Area MP, Ram Chandra Paswan said that presently representatives of terrorists are running the government at the centre. He announced the grant of Rs 1 million from MP’s fund for classrooms and hostel of this madrasa.
Tanvir Hasan, MLC, criticized the Group of Ministers’ report on mosques and madrasas and cautioned the communalist forces that their unholy conspiracy will never succeed. He made an appeal to Muslims and ulama to unitedly face the mischief-mongers and defeat their sinister designs.
