VHP to launch 'strong movement' for temple
Jaipur: The VHP on 3 Nov. threatened to
launch a "strong" people's movement from March 12 next year if
the Union government failed to give land in Ayodhya for construction of
Ram temple. There would be no alternative for the Hindus but to fight if
the Union government and other political parties failed to take a positive
decision over the proposed construction of Ram temple, international
general secretary of VHP, Pravin Togadia said.
Replying to a question regarding Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's
assertion that the Ayodhya issue would be settled before March 12, Togadia
said there does not seem to be any solid basis for this claim. q |
