Eid celebration

New Delhi: Chairman of Minorities Forum of India and general secretary of Samajwadi party, Muhammad Azam Khan, MP, has appealed to Muslims not to celebrate the forthcoming Eid with gaiety because USA’s barbarous attack on Afghanistan and in expression of sympathy and solidarity with the afflicted people of Afghanistan.

He said that like all peace-loving people of the world, Muslims strongly condemned the inhuman attack of 11 September on America because Islam is the biggest opponent of terrorism but the way America has destroyed Afghanistan and killed thousands of innocent people and made life extremely difficult for them has made the civilised world hang its head with shame. All Muslims should therefore celebrate Eid with simplicity.
