| Muslim Parliament condemns religious vandalism
Dr Ghayasuddin Siddiqui, leader of UK’s Muslim Parliament (muslimparliament@hotmail.com) has expressed concern over the growing intolerance in Pakistan in regard to art, culture, and music. Referring to the recent ransacking of the Department of Visual Studies at the University of Karachi, destroying musical instruments, sculptures, and paintings, Dr Ghayasuddin Siddiqui, Leader of the Muslim Parliament, has said, while in India artists, film producers and human right activists are standing up against Gujrat government for its part in the massacre of Muslims, in Pakistan individuals who claim to be Muslim are attacking people who uphold diversity and human dignity.
