Demand for inquiry into terrorist attacks during NDA’s rule

Rampur: Muslim League leader Sayyid Shakeel Mian in a written statement has demanded the central government to order inquiry into terrorist attacks during the NDA government’s rule. He said that the attacks on Parliament, Red Fort, Akshardham temple, Raghunath Temple, burning of train in Godhra and massacre of 30 Sikhs in Kashmir during US President Clinton’s visit to India must be enquired into to find out the truth.

He said that BJP government tried to create rift and promote hatred between Hindus and Muslims simply to garner Hindu votes. He added that the government of communalists used all means to prove 200 million Muslims as traitors. Madrasahs were dubbed as centres of ISI activities and terrorism training camps. Muslims were frightened and harassed by enacting of POTA. He said that Muslims have great hopes from the the new government, the authorities in the government should change their thinking about Muslims.
