India Islamic Centre to be completed soon
New Delhi: Outgoing Libyan ambassador to India, Dr Noori Al Madni, while speaking on the occasion of a farewell party in his honor in Delhi, said that his country was committed to build the India Islamic Centre and for this purpose an amount of 40 million rupees would be given soon. Dr Madni said that Libiyan government was committed to fullfil its promise made by Qaddafi’s son Saiful Islam during his Delhi visit about two years ago. The ambassador said that a grant of 2.4 million has already been provided to this end.
Dr Madni said that he was happy that during his tenure, Indo-Libyan relations improved and people of the two countries came closer in social and cultural fields.
