Fear of investigations troubling RSS

New Delhi: RSS is very anxious and active in saving the BJP-led government. It has asked its cadres to engage themselves in a ‘do or die’ campaign because if the NDA government was defeated, Shishu Mandirs, Vanvasi Kalyan Asharams, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and other affiliated organisations and their activities could be investigated. The ‘do or die’ campaign of the RSS has been adopted after the results of the second phase of Lok Sabha elections. Before the second phase, the BJP hopefuls and members of Sangh Parivar appeared to be confident of their success, oblivious of the writing on the wall. However, after the exit poll results of the second phase, they suddenly woke up from the slumber of overconfidence and became alarmed. (Panjab Kesari [Hindi daily] April 4, 2004)
