Azim Premji, pioneer of India’s software revolution and chairman of Wipro who is also reputed to be the richest man of India won another laurel when he was selected by a distinguished jury for Business Leader Award at the Economic Times Awards for Corporate Excellence function held at Mumbai on 14 October. In all, 5 business magnates (including Azim Premji) and 3 business houses were selected for the awards for corporate excellence in different capacities such as Business Leader, Global Indian, Company of the year etc.

Prof Sayyad Mohd Aqeel Rizvi (Allahabad) and Ghalib Award for Science to Mohd Khalil (Delhi). These awards consist of Rs 25000 in cash, a medal and commendation certificate each. These awards will be presented on 24 December at a function.
