Pune: Hindutvaites have poisoned the minds of common Hindus with baseless allegations and common refrains like ‘madrasas are centres of terrorism’, ‘azaan calls upon Muslims to kill Hindus’, ‘azaan contains prayers for revival of Emperor Akbar’s kingdom’, ‘Qur’an enjoins Muslims to kill kafirs’…etc, etc.
Prominent Urdu and Marathi author, Anees Chishti has retorted to such baseless allegations in his latest book in Marathi Madrasay aani jaagtak dahshat waad (Madrasas and International Terrorism). 

In this book of 136-pages, Chishti has lucidly explained the meanings of Urdu and Arabic words and expressions like madrasas, jehad, Haj, azaan, Baqr Eid, terrorism, iconoclasm and Qur’an in simple language.
