Training programme for madrasah teachers
New Delhi: Hamdard Education Society in cooperation with Ministry of Human Resources Development organised an eight-day training programme for madrasah teachers from 25 May. The objective of the programme was to promote moral values and culture through education and to familiarise teachers with new methods and techniques of teaching. The society earlier organised four such training
programmes.
Over 50 teachers of madrasahs from 16 states including Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Gujarat, Karnataka, Haryana took part in the programme. Sixteen managers from these madrasahs also attended the programme. Educationists and experts from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi University, Jamia Millia Islamia, Jamia Hamdard and other educational institutions delivered lectures during the programme. <<
