RSS and VHP’s hands suspected in Godhra incident

New Delhi: Minister of State for Railways and the first Adivasi MP from Gujarat, Narayanbhai Rathore while speaking to media persons said that NDA, particularly BJP members, are opposing fresh departmental enquiry into the Godhra train fire incident because they are afraid of new facts coming into light which their government might have put under wrap at that time. He said that the departmental enquiry should in fact have been conducted at that time itself because 59 innocent persons were burnt to death but the then railway minister, Nitish Kumar had not ordered such enquiry at that time. He said that Lalu Prasad Yadav’s announcement in Parliament of a departmental enquiry made them, particularly BJP, nervous because proofs of RSS and VHP’s complicity in this tragic incident are coming to light. Forensic report also suggested that the concerned compartment was set ablaze with some inflammable material kept inside and not from outside the compartment. «
