Foreign national held with three passports
New Delhi: Intelligence agencies arrested a foreign national from the Khankah locality of Deoband, Saharanpur district, Uttar Pradesh on June 24 for illegaly living in India.
The accused, Mahmood Hakimi, had married a local woman and was living with her. Three passports were recovered from him. One of the passports was issued by Pakistan government on December 24, 1996 and another by Iran government. He had also obtained a passport from Indian government in the name of Mohammad Musharraf. Hakimi has told the intelligence agencies that he came from Iran.
