Sufi Message Yatra reaches Delhi
New Delhi: 'Sufi Sandesh Yatra' which started from Raipur on April 16 arrived in Delhi on 19th. Its leader, Sufi Sayyid Muhammad Jilani, said here that people should ignore Mandir-Masjid dispute to ensure peace and progress in the country. A group of religious leaders assembled at a single platform of World Sufi Organisation and vowed to root out the poison of communal hatred in the country.
The group comprising of religious heads of dargahs of Ajmer Sharief, Mehsana, Hyderabad, Bijapur, Sultan Shah and also of Delhi Catholic Church and famous religious leaders of Prayag is in its first stage of an all India tour. In its second stage it will visit Bareilly, Lucknow, Faizabad, Basti, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Allahabad, Kanpur, Agra, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ujjain, Indore, Bhopal, Mathura and will come back to Delhi. Thereafter, it will visit places in Maharashtra, Orissa, Gujarat etc and in the end it will visit south Indian states.
