Fascists whining against fascism?

By I.K. Shukla

The Milli Gazette Online

It is getting curiouser by the day. They, BJP MPs, ostensibly on behalf of the MLAs, are meeting or seeking audience with Advani to "apprise" him of the authoritarian methods of Modi. He eavesdrops on the telephone talks of his fellow fascists both in the cabinet and the state BJP. He harasses the dissidents in several destructive and vindictive ways. He keeps positions and slots vacant to keep his power intact, etc.

What do they expect Advani to do? Help them clip the wings of a Fellow Fascist? The FF is no less than the architect of Hindu Rashtra in Gujarat via pogroms. By his bloody savagery of genocide he won Gujarat over, not to democracy, but to horrors of Hindutva. Advani was the architect of a proto pogrom all over India, that drenched the land in blood, but raised the BJP strength in the Lok Sabha from a mere 2 to 80. They both are pillars of fire, gorges of hatred, and craters of violence. In short, theo-terrorists, communal fascists.

And, why should these BJP MPs cry directly or by proxy over Modi's despotic tyranny? They are his fellow promoters of tyranny and terrorism in Gujarat from which the state never recovered, and with which it is irremediably soiled and would suppurate for ever.

If they all are diehard votaries of theo-terrorism and communal fascism, sworn to authoritarianism and committed to destroying India by massacring the minorities, as per the exhortations of their mentors who were disciples of Hitler and Mussolini, why should they bleat when the same authoritarianism is visited upon them whether by Modi or any other humanoid monster? If fascism, in their ideological agenda, is good for India, it should be good for them too.

Do they realise that they zealously bred and bolstered an odious ogre, a monstrous freak like Modi, who brought blight on Gujarat and blot on India?

For their contribution to fascism they need to be punished faster and earlier than Modi. For their help in destroying democracy and poisoning the polity, shouldn't first they be meted out chastisement?

And, what is so worrisome if BJP in Gujarat is suddenly astir, removing the blinkers from its eyes, and breathing a little fresh air after the long suffocation from the stench that saffronazis spread all over?

First, it cannot be credible. They are men too long dead in sensitivity, insentient, having sold their souls to the devil long ago. Retrieval and redemption for them is both a chimera and an impossible dream.

They are beggars at Modi's table, they only crave crumbs of privilege, power, and pelf, a share in the ill-gotten spoils, a semblance of importance.

Even this, even nominally, they may be undeserving of and may be denied at present. Vis-a-vis Advani, Modi has proved to be a meaner monster. He cannot be gotten rid of. RSS-VHP-Shiv Sena are his phalanx. Fascists have their paramilitaries.
