In the memorandum to President, they requested him to take suitable steps for the settlement of the Babri Masjid issue in order to promote communal peace and harmony. He has been requested to have an ordinance issued for rebuilding the Babri Masjid at its old site or a Bill introduced in the Parliament for the purpose.

The memorandum said that for the last 12 years they have been approaching the office of president in the hope that finally justice will be done to Muslims. The 6th December day cannot be forgotten by Muslims of the country because that day their religious feeling was hurt and insulted.

Muslims along with crores of secular countrymen had voted in favour of Congress Party during recent Lok Sabha and assembly elections after its president Sonia Gandhi apologised to Muslims for the demolition of Babri Masjid. The memorandum requested President to urge the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh to take steps for rebuilding the Babri Masjid on its site.

The memorandum to the Chief Justice of India asked for setting up of a special court and all the cases relating to Babri Masjid which have been pending for hearing in Faizabad, Allahabad, Lucknow, Rai Bareli courts and Supreme Court be transferred to the proposed court, and hearing in the cases be done on daily basis so as to expedite a decision.
