RSS: playing a new card

After biting the dust in the Lok Sabha elections, the Hindutva brigade is organising special programmes throughout the country. Ironically they are inviting Muslims professing sympathy towards them. Latur was on their target and they arranged this type of programme to lure Muslims. It was arranged on 11 January at Sudarshan Hall, where Muslims were invited.
In this programme the RSS professed its sympathy and affection towards Muslims. Brotherhood, harmony, and amity were the topics of discussion. Mr. Indresh, an RSS activist from Haryana, was brought to deliver a speech. He was introduced to the audience as the founder of ‘National Movement For Muslims’ as well as one who is ‘highly studied in Islam’ but his speech didn’t prove that he had studied Islam as it wholly dealt with the current upheavals in the Muslim world.
His arguments were quite illogical and inane. Apparently there were some people who couldn’t follow the teachings of their religion; instead they indulged in old customs and traditions which are totally against their faith. But in his speech, Indresh cited instances of such Muslims who are not the true representative of their religion or community. It is a great pity that a person who was introduced as a scholar on Islam couldn’t differentiate between true and false.
Trying to lure Muslims and convince them, Indresh emphatically told that the RSS is not an enemy of Muslims. Further he tried to prove his point by asking the audience whether they had been frisked before they were allowed to attend this programme adding that he too had come without any personal bodyguard. Security is prerequisite for the secular parties and this according to him was proof that RSS is not an enemy of Muslims. He also added that "if RSS was an enemy of Muslims then they would not be allowed in this programme." He insisted that "it is merely a propaganda". The entire human race is the creation of God, we must behave with them humanitarianly," Indresh said.
During his speech he spoke about the Indonization of Islam, and laid emphasis on altering Islamic laws by quoting the example of an old mosque which the Muslims dismantled for the purpose of building a new one in it’s place. How can new Islamic laws not be made in the same way, he asked.
These were the key points of his speech. After being trounced in Lok Sabha elections, Hindutva forces are pretending to be friends of Muslims. But the foundation and background of RSS is totally anti-Muslim.
The speech of Indresh raises some questions: if RSS considers Muslims its brothers then where was RSS at the time when Muslims were brutally and inhumanly being killed in Gujarat? Is Modi the main perpetrator not a pracharak of RSS? Was the Gujarat pogrom not State-managed? Then how can Muslims believe that the RSS is their friend?
Talking about Islamic laws we should remember that Divine laws cannot be changed, no one has the right to change them. Man-made laws may be changed but divine laws cannot be altered. Islamic laws are divine laws, which bring success and prosperity both in this world and the Hereafter. «
