Communal clash in Rajasthan town

Jaipur: People of two communities clashed over taking out a Holi procession on March 25 through a Muslim-dominated locality in the city. The violence left 14 persons sustained injuries while 17 shops were set on fire by the rioters.
The members of Ghanchi community insisted on taking their "Gair" procession through Dhal ki Gali locality, to which local residents objected. The participants in the procession turned violent when some people allegedly threw stones on them. They attacked the houses and set on fire shops.
The police have taken 19 persons into preventive custody and registered three cases, including one each on behalf of both the communities.
