The
Milli Gazette Online
Mumabi: The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) president, GM Banatwalla has termed the Union government’s plea to US to reconsider a US visa for Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi as unfortunate. In a press statement on March 19, Banatwalla said that the US’ denial of visa to Modi cannot be considered as an affront to India, the Indian constitution or the Gujaratis. No one is above the rule of law, justice and human values.
The need for the government of India is to move in the right direction as Gujarat riot victims cannot expect justice under Modi government. His government be dismissed and action taken against him for the crimes perpetrated by his government during Gujarat riots, he said.
