Modi Tangle Around UPA

Denial of visa to Narendra Modi by the US embassy has erupted wide conflicts within the ruling Congress party and among the other social organizations in the country. Modi was neither on an official mission to US nor was invited by any Governmental organizations in the States. To deny visa to any one whom a country does not wish to enter in is a usual practice in all countries including India. It is a prerogative of that particular nation. It was the NHRC’s report which led to this development. Given these facts the hyper activism of UPA govt. and especially that of PMO was entirely wrong. NHRC is a body constituted by Act of Parliament, which has its own self. Any office including Ministry of External Affairs or PMO should not engage in any sort of activity, which will impinge on its credentials. 

On the other hand refusing visa to those who damage religious freedom is another set of law in the US. They too have the right to execute their law against whom they deem fit to apply. His entire program scheduled to take place in the US was of Sagh Parivar, barring one or two business meetings.
In this circumstance, to stand behind the killer Modi was totally uncalled for on the part of UPA govt. It was Modi’s and his party’s leading role in the communal carnage and nonstop violation of basic right of millions of people, who have brought the present UPA to power. It was the people who had been frustrated with the enormous sufferings at the hands of last regime, who have overthrown the Sangh Parivar and paved the way for this regime. So to chip away at the dreams of those who voted them to power is totally beyond comprehension. It is high time for Manmohan Singh Govt. to prove their secular credential. It will help us and the Congress to wipe out its safforanised past and build confidence among the secular millions of this nation. It will also elevate its pride high overseas.
