New Delhi: Well known poet and film song writer Gulzar inaugurated ‘Urdu Tahzeeb Dotcom’ (www.urdutahzeeb.com) by lighting a candle at an impressive function here on 21 April. Speaking on this occasion he said that ‘I am very much in love with Urdu and I enjoy it. This language was born and developed here and this is the common language of daily use today’. He further said that today 70 percent language of Hindi films is Urdu and this is the language that I am in love with. 

Expressing his views on new this occasion, prominent Urdu poet Ahmad Faraz said that since Urdu is comparatively a new language, its vocabulary sometimes appears to be deficient and suitable words are not available for expression of views correctly but it is hoped that efforts made in this way (dotcom) will be helpful in finding suitable words and enriching the language.

Punjabi World Cultural Organisation, Punjabi Millennium had started this website the main objective of which is to promote composite culture and civilisation of India which is generally called Ganga-Yamuna culture and civilisation and to popularise it in the whole world. The objective of this website is also to expose and foil the attempts of communal and anti social forces which are spreading communal hatred, ill-will and prejudice in society. It will give top priority to promote love, peace, cooperation and understanding. Punjabi Millennium had earlier started Punjabi website which is becoming extremely popular.
