Package for Kashmiri Pandits
Jammu: The Jammu & Kashmir government is ready with an employment package for Kashmiri Pandits. The first slot of the package would be meant for those who are still living in the valley and the second slot for migrant Kashmiri Pandits willing to return to the Valley and the third slot for migrants who are living outside the valley, announced State Revenue Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Mohammad Yaseen at the meeting of an inter-ministerial committee here on December 23. The committee has been appointed to study the problems of migrants living in Jammu for the past 15 years.

The team would submit a detailed report to the Prime Minister’s Office about the modalities of package to upgrade civic amenities at migrant camps. A survey would be conducted to identify families whose dependent members are both married and unemployed.
