|BJP asks to check religious conversion

Pathanamthitta: BJP State general secretary, P.K. Krishnadas on February 18 warned the government of serious consequences if it failed to check "the organised religious conversion" in the state. "Attack on a few persons attached to the Thiruvalla-based Gospel for Asia (GFA) at Budhanur in Alappuzha district was a fallout of the Government's failure to check conversion activities and the "deliberate" negligence on the part of the police to check such activities despite complaints lodged by various Hindu organisations," he said.
