Milli Gazette Online
Lucknow: Jamiatul Ulama-e Hind, UP and Haji Mahboob had field a revision pettion against exoneration of BJP leader LK Advani by Rae Bareli Court in the Babri Masjid demolition case.
Shiv Sena leader, BN Shukla agreed to become a party and witness in this case and filed an application to this effect in the court on Feb. 14. In the revision petition it has been stated that Advani made a false statement and because of this, he was exonerated by the Rae Bareli court.
The Shiv Sena leader has said in his petition that he was in Ayodhya from 20 November to 6 December in 1992 and that he had taken an active part in Babri Masjid’s demolition because LK Advani, Ashok Singhal and Paramhans Ram Chandra had assured the Shiv Sainiks that a temple would built on the place of Babri Masjid if it was demolished. He added that between 20 November to 6 December these leaders held several secret meetings and ordered Shiv Sainiks to pull down the mosque. On 6 December 1992 these leaders instigated Shiv Sainiks on loud speakers to pulldown the mosque and as a result the mosque was demolished
