DSGMC objects to jokes on Sikh community
The
Milli Gazette Online
New Delhi: Sikh religious leaders have protested over cartoons published in Hindi national dailies making fun of Sikhs. Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) chief, Paramjit Singh Sarna said in a press statement recently that a number of Sikhs have objected to cartoons because they found them offending and making fun of the community. He added that they have requested these newspapers to ensure that no such offensive material is carried by their publications in future.
