Media for a cause
Milli Gazette Online
New Delhi: Clear vision, long-term planning and its effective implementation and patience to wait for slow changes are needed for managing media for a specific cause, said Dr Zafarul Islam Khan, Islamic scholar and editor of The Milli Gazette while delivering a lecture on "Media: ideology and politics” on 28 April at the headquarters of Students Islamic Organisation (SIO), New Delhi.
Media is a neutral weapon and anybody can use it according to his own ideas. There is no meaning in blaming media and considering it as an enemy. More positive approach is needed to master it and use it properly. The efforts of American Jews in media control and management are a model even though their intentions were wrong. By tireless and patient efforts they succeeded in establishing a strong influence over most of the major American media, he added.
