MUSLIMS
INTELLECTUAL GROUP OF INDIA
Why are they silent?
Pune, March 25, 2002: The inhuman, barbaric, brutal, and merciless killings of Muslims in Gujarat. continues no stop. Still the 41 Muslim Members of Parliament, have shown nor exhibited any concern for their community, leaving the task to defend the Muslims in the hands of Hindu politicians. What a shame? And there is no shame for this thick skinned Muslim
MPs, who have gone deaf and blind and their lips sealed.
The Muslims Intellectuals Group of India strongly condemns the silence of these Muslims MPs in strongest terms, and demands that either they come out open and speak out their minds on behalf of their community to the government or if they are incompetent to do so they should resign without wasting time. The Muslim community does not stand in need of such of their community MPs who are good for nothing. The Muslims of India too should write and seek the accountability of these Muslim
MPs.
The Islamic countries and the Arab countries too have remained silent on the mass killings of the Muslims. The Muslims should also write to the respective ambassadors of these countries in India, particularly to the Saudi Ambassador, whose country proclaims to be the guardians of the world Muslims.
