FAMUAA condemns the terrorist attack at the Swaminarayan temple of Gandhinagar

Foster City, 25 September, 2002: The Federation of Aligarh Muslim University Alumni Associations (FAMUAA) today condemned the terrorist attack at Swaminarayan temple of Gandhinagar and offered condolences to the families of those who were killed.

In a statement, president of the federation, Dr. Abdullah said, "We condemn in the strongest terms possible what is apparently vicious and cowardly act of terrorism against innocent civilians. We send our condolence to all victims of this attack. There is no cause that justifies this type of an inhumane and immoral act that has affected so many innocent lives. We support all efforts for the swift apprehension and punishment of the perpetrators".
