Mushawarat Demands UN Investigation of Israel’s Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Arsenal
New Delhi, 3 July, 2003: Shri Syed Shahabuddin, President of the All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat (AIMMM), has issued the following Statement:
"The All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat (AIMMM) expresses its appreciation of the BBC’s recent telecast "Israel’s Secret Weapon’ which has courageously exposed Israel’s possession of chemical, biological and nuclear weapons and its use of nerve gas against the Palestinian resistance. If the report is correct, Israel has thus committed crime against humanity.
Israel has in retaliation stopped all cooperation with the BBC and accused it of anti-semitic propaganda and it has been trying to black out the programme in other parts of the world.
The AIMMM requests the UN Secretary General to take due note of the BBC’s revelation and seek the UN Security Council’s authorization for investigation of the allegation by a competent team of UN Inspectors."
