Babri Masjid committee appeals to Muslims to remain calm, despite provocations by the BJP
New Delhi, 6 December, 2004:
Past experience has shown that negotiations by the BJP for the solution of the Babri Masjid dispute failed because unreasonable and therefore unacceptable conditions used to be imposed on the Muslim
minority community. Hence, the only sensible, practical and profitable alternative is to await and accept unconditionally the verdict of the Apex Court The Babri Masjid Reconstruction Movement Committee, on the
eve of the 12th Anniversary of the demolition of the Masjid, appeal to Muslims to remain calm, despite the
periodic stinging provocations by the BJP, which has, once again, gone back to square one, viz., its original Hindutva ideology, under a
different name.
