AIMMM Conveys its Condolences to Palestinian Leaders and Urges them to Continue Liberation Struggle
REITERATES Solidarity and Support for the Palestinian Cause
New Delhi, 11 November, 2004: Shri Syed Shahabuddin, President of the All India Muslim Majlis- e-Mushawarat (AIMMM), has issued the following Statement :
"The All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat (AIMMM) expresses its deep sorrow at the demise of President Yasser Arafat who devoted his entire life to the Palestinian cause. In his life time, Arafat had become a symbol of Man’s passion for Freedom, of resistance and defiance. Indeed he became the Father of Palestinian Nationalism and one of the great revolutionary heroes of the twentieth Century.
The AIMMM joins the Palestinian people in mourning and prays to Allah to reward him for his good deeds and to grant spiritual strength to the Palestinian people and to the millions of his admirers all over the world to bear this irreparable loss.
The AIMMM conveys its heartfelt condolences to the leaders of the Palestinian Liberation Organization and the Palestinian Authority and calls upon them to continue, with faith and determination, the freedom struggle until the Palestinian people are liberated, the Palestinian State is established and Arafat’s dream is realized.
The AIMMM reiterates its solidarity and support the Palestinian people in completing the unfinished task."
