All India Muslim Forum extends its heartiest congratulations to the Cobrapost.com
team which, through its 'Operation Duryodhan', has successfully exposed the corruption of those MPs who denigrate the dignity of the Parliament to the lowest level by accepting money for raising questions in the
House and also congratulates Aaj Tak Channel for airing the exposé. It once again demonstrates the dedication of the Press in exposing the corruption at public offices so as to make our democratic institutions more accountable to the popular ambitions.
The peculiar aspect of this expose is the involvement of MPs from various parties, with none having the occasion to blame the other for defaming the persons of high moral rectitude. Another redeeming feature of this episode is the unity of all Members of Parliament, cutting across the party lines, in demanding stringent action against the guilty so that the dignity of the Parliament may be restored. However, it is shameful that BJP which espouses the cause of Lord Ram has accounted for the highest number of the culprits , thus forfeiting its claim to use his name for augmenting its political fortunes.
