American Muslims condemn Delhi blasts

Washington DC, October 29, 2005: The Association of Indian Muslims of America (AIM) categorically condemns the bomb blasts in several shopping centers in New Delhi today on the eve of Diwali a national festival of all Indians. AIM expresses its profound sympathy with the families of those killed and those injured. AIM calls upon the Indian government to take immediate and stern action against the culprits and bring them to justice.

Indeed it is sad that some terrorists took this ghastly action to disturb the harmony and friendship between Muslims and Hindus in India on the eve of the joyous festival of Diwali. AIM appeals to all to remain calm and allow the government to take quick action.
