MPCI unequivocally condemns act of terrorism on the makeshift Ram Temple
New Delhi, 6 July, 2005: Muslim Political Council of India (MPCI) unequivocally
condemns the coward act of terrorism on the makeshift Ram Temple built on Babri Masjid debris in Ayodhya yesterday.
Council's president Dr. T. A. Rehmani said in press note that all such activities are aimed to disrupt the communal harmony of the country which
has regained after six years of communal rule over the nation by the fascist forces. He demanded an immediate and impartial high level inquiry into the sad incident. He also demanded that it should also be explored in the enquiry that who was to be benefited by such an attack.
Dr Rehmani also condemned the use of word "jehadi" by some organizations and section of
of the press as Islam and Muslims has nothing to do with such disruptive
activities.
Dr. Rehmani appealed to all political and social groups in the country to use maximum restrain while commenting on the issue and lodging protest against this attack and keep the overall interest of the nation, people,
peace and harmony foremost in their minds.
