Indian Muslims welcome dialogue between the USA and Iran

PRESS STATEMENT

Wants Dialogue to be Unconditional and Under the IAEA

New Delhi, 2 June, 2006: Shri Syed Shahabuddin, President of the All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat (AIMMM), has issued the following Statement:

"The All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat (AIMMM) welcomes the prospect of US participate in the dialogue between the EU and Iran on the question of uranium enrichment.

The AIMMM deems it appropriate that the dialogue should be absolutely unconditional and that it should be held under the auspices of the IAEA.

The AIMMM is optimistic that the dialogue shall succeed in dissipating regional tension and dispersing the war clouds over the horizon."
