 MOEMIN Condemns strike on RSS HQ, Rejects violent ways to fight communal forces
PRESS STATEMENT
New Delhi,
2 June,
2006: An abortive attempt to storm the RSS headquarters at Nagpur is deplorable, uncalled and needs strongest condemnation. The attack seems to be aimed at disturbing peace and harmony in the country.
No sensible Indian would commend the violent methods to fight the communal forces, as it would give lame excuse to the forces of hatred to target the minorities and civil society, which stands for plural Indian ethos.
The impatient and uncalled statements of Nagpur Police to brand the terrorists attack, as an act of Islamic terrorism is nothing but to malign the Islam and needs condemnation.
It is time to appeal to young Muslim minds to adopt peaceful and political means to counter fascist forces and to keep a safe distance with the policy of hatred and rejects all forms of violence.
It is high time for the policy makers of Sangh Parivar also to give a serious thought to tender an apology for the Gujarat carnage and to close all windows for any kind of excuse for retaliatory acts of violence in future.
