Since the horrific deaths of 59 Hindus in a riot at Godhra station, state sponsored anti-Muslim violence in Gujarat, India, has claimed the lives of more than 2,000 innocent Muslims. Over 100,000 Muslims, including hundreds of raped women and injured or orphaned children, are living in relief camps. Among those who were torched to death there were some British Muslims.
