Hubli: Some ant-social elements hoisted Bhagwa flag on 3 September in the Eidgah of Kamtagi village, district Bagalkot in Karnataka which created communal tension in the area. As soon as this news spread, people in large numbers began to assemble which created a law and order problem. Higher district and police authorities reached the spot and tightened security measures. A peace meeting was also arranged by the authorities. The situation however became normal after some time.
