Hindus and Muslims clashed and pelted each other with stones on 21 October as a result of an alleged
eveteasing incident in Seelampur in northeast Delhi. Police intervened and dispersed the crowd after firing tear gas canisters. Two persons were reportedly injured during the clash in the New Seelampur
market. Police force was deployed in large numbers. Seven persons were arrested.
