Conditions of our Palestinian brothers and sisters were never satisfactory since the occupation of most of their lands by the Zionists with active western help. UNRWA and some other charitable organisations have been active in alleviating to some extent the suffering of the
Palestinian refugees who number more than five million today. The inhuman conditions of their refugee camps are made worse by frequent Israeli acts of aggression and closures. Of late conditions have further deteriorated and a human catastrophe is staring us in the face as Israel and its western backers try to punish the Palestinians for exercising their democratic rights.
Help your Palestinian brothers and sisters in their hour of need. We plan to send purely humanitarian aid like medicines, medical supplies, textbooks and other similar supplies on a regular basis to charitable organisations in Jerusalem, West Bank and Gaza Strip to alleviate the suffering of our Palestinian brothers and sisters. India and Indian people have consistently supported the Palestinian people. It is time we resume our
commitment and show it in concrete terms.
