Terrorist Attack On Srinagar Congress Rally - A Dastardly Act
Milli Gazette Online
The Sunday terrorist attack on the Congress Rally in Srinagar, Kashmir has once again proved that the
monster of terrorism is not showing any signs of dying down. While it has sent shock waves
across the country, giving a renewed sense of determination to fight this evil with ruthless measures, it must dispel the misconception of those who link the Kashmir terrorism with Islam or Muslims or as something directed against Hindus or non-Muslims.
The fact that a few few weeks ago if we were horrified by the terrorists gunning down dozens of Hindus, this time most of the victims of this inhuman act are Muslims. It is enough for us to learn the lesson that terrorism, whether it be in Kashmir or anywhere in the world, cannot be suppressed till we continue to attach religious or to be precise
Islamic label to it. It is a social, political and economic problem, having different dimensions in different corners of the world, and must be tackled from that plank.
